Good afternoon. I am very happy to find that the Parish of Lifton is in good hands, and thriving. I am the sister of the late Mrs. Veronica Pagett, the wife of the late Rev. Fr. Andrew Pagett. Veronica died in March 2014 after moving from Lifton, on Andrew's retirement, to the outskirts of Torrington. Very sadly Andrew passed at the beginning of 2016 after he'd moved to Swindon to be closer to their children. He'd been quite ill since leaving Lifton really, which wasn't helped by the loss of Veronica. With fond memories of my visits to the Rectory in Lifton.

As we begin to observe Lent I would like to send greetings and prayers from the Parish of St. Peter’s Laneside Haslingden in the Diocese of Blackburn to our fellow Christians in Devon. A special greeting to your priest Father Philip .
